Don’t all fairy tales start like that?

Hello, I’m Stephanie. I started my photography business in East Tennessee back in 2014 as Stephanie Richer Photography. I still have that business but what happened was that one day a young man contacted me and asked me to photograph his marriage proposal atop Clingmans Dome. And I blogged about it.

And then another young man contacted me about his intended marriage proposal after reading my blog. And then another. And another. And still another. And then someone wrote a news story about how I photograph marriage proposals in the Smokies. And more people called me about photographing marriage proposals in the Smokies.

And so finally, I decided that a separate business was needed, one whose name . . . says it all. Smoky Mountain Marriage Proposals.

I have explored the Smokies specifically with marriage proposals in mind. Is this spot easy to find? How long will it take to get to the location? How busy will it be with other people? How cold will it be? How windy will it be? Can I find a good position to stand in to capture it? Is someone at risk of falling off a mountain or into a river? And what about those bears?
